Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to some of your questions here. If you don't find what you are looking for email us at bloom@stodilia.org.

Do I have to be a parent of a St. O’s student to attend?

No! In the past, we’ve had alumni, church parishioners, grandparents, and friends from other schools attend (just to name a few). Everyone is welcome to attend and support our great school.

2

What should I wear?

Attire is generally cocktail attire or “snappy casual."  Men usually wear a shirt and tie and women usually wear a cocktail-type dress. Check out our Facebook photos for ideas of what attendees have worn in the past. Most importantly, please wear whatever you feel comfortable in and be ready to have a good time!

3

What if I don’t know who to sit with?

As dinner is assigned seating, when purchasing tickets, we will ask if there are people you would like to sit with and will do our best to accommodate this request. If you don’t know who to sit with, it is no problem at all! This event was started in an effort to build our community! If you don’t have a seating preference, we will seat you at a table with others looking to meet new people and/or other attendees who have children in similar grades and classes.

4

I can’t go, but I’d like to participate. What can I do?

We’d love to have you, but realize not everyone can make it! Please select the free "Online/Mobile Bidding" ticket option on the ticket page so that you are able to participate via online/mobile bidding on the silent auction items.  The silent auction will open Friday, April 7th and closes the night of Bloom, Saturday April 15th at 7:45pm.

If you would like to place a proxy bid for any live items, please email bloom@stodilia.org.

You can still buy tickets for ticketed events (i.e. lock-ins, non-uniform days, etc.).

5

When will bidding begin and end on the silent auction items?

Bidding on the silent auction items will open the week prior to Bloom, Friday, April 7th.  You can review items, set auto bids, and actively bid all week so that you can enjoy the night of Bloom!  Bidding will close the night of Bloom, Saturday, April 15th at 7:30pm. Watch for more specifics as we near the event.

5

How will I get my winnings?

If you are the lucky winner of a live or silent auction item, you will receive all of your information/winnings the night of Bloom. For silent and live auction items, you may pick up your winnings up at Vadnais Heights Commons after the program + live auction. If you can’t be there, all auction items will be at the school office after the event and you can pick them up there!

5

What should I bring to the event?

Please bring cash, as there will be opportunities for raffles ($100) and games ($20) that require cash payment per Minnesota gambling laws.  There is no ATM on site.

6

I'd like to volunteer, how can I help?

We'd love to have your help!  The event will require a number of helpers the day of - from setting up to welcoming guests to checking out guests and their winnings.  Please visit the Get Involved tab to see our Sign Up Genius or click the button below.
